Tanners Hand

A week or so ago Tanner stuck his hand in the spokes of a stationary bike while Mason was pedaling it with his hands. What can I say, curiosity got the best of him! It hurt him, hurt him bad, like I couldn't get him to calm down for quite awhile (this all happened during the middle of a RS presidency meeting). We ended up taking him in to get it exrayed, and it wasn't broken thank goodness. Here are a few pictures. It is hard to tell from them, but it got really black and blue and was quite swollen. all underneath his thumb was really swollen.Poor little guy! He is doing much better now!

While Drew was in Cincinnati doing his externship, the boys and I drove up his last day and played with some friends that had recently moved up there. They took us to the children's museum up there and the kids LOVED it! It was such a fun place to play. We also hit up Ikea, then met up with Drew, got some dinner and headed home! It was such a fun day. Thanks Amanda for the great time!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we had a BBQ with some friends in our apartments and ward. We grilled, played sand volleyball, then when it was just so hot we couldn't stand it any more, we headed to the pool to cool off. It was a fun night. After swimming we had a few sparklers for the kids to do!

I was recently released from Young Womens so I thought I would share a few last young womens ideas that I have done.

Vacation Bible School

You know you live in the south when your child goes to vacation bible school in the summer! Last month Mason went with his buddy Conner to Vacation Bible School, Kingdom Camp. We found out about it through Conner's Preschool. He went from 9:00 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon all week long. He LOVED every minute of it. They learned a bible story everyday and did fun crafts and activities and learned lots of songs. It was a fun filled week. At the end of the week they had a little performance for all the parents. It was so fun to go and watch!

Grandpa and Grandma visit

Last week Grandpa Dave and Grandma Debi got to come and visit us We had such a fun time with them. It was REALLY HOT while they were here so we did a lot of swimming. We also did a trip to the Zoo, and lots of other fun things. We had so much fun!

My Mom and I made this quilt block for a quilt that they are putting together back home. When the quilt is complete it will have blocks with all the historical homes in Santa Clara.

Thanks Mom and Dad for coming to see us! We had such a great time with you and miss you already!
