Memorial Day Weekend

During Memorial Weekend, Drew had to give a presentation at a conference in Orlando, so we decided to tag along and make a fun weekend out of it. We got up there Friday afternoon and went to Legoland for the rest of the day. Hit up a few of our favorite rides, the headed to our hotel and dinner.

Its not a trip without going to the BIG SHOP!
At dinner there was a lady doing balloons. She was AMAZING. Seriously, best balloon maker I've ever seen. Mason got an alligator, tanner an octopus, and Hayden a turtle.
The next day Drew had to give the presentation, so the boys and I hung out at the hotel. They had lots of fun things to do. Swimming, giant chess, ping pong, splash pad. We played until drew was done, then went and picked him up and headed back to Legoland to try out the water park.

The Lego land water park was a blast. Brought me right back to Wet and Wild days down in Vegas.

 Wave pool

Lazy River. This was extra fun because they have giant Legos floating in the water and some of the tubes have brick plates you can build things on!

That night we drove home, then on Monday we went swimming and had a BBQ with friends.

It was a fun weekend!

May happenings

In May we got to go to a fun birthday party at the beach for cute Collette. it was such a fun day at the beach.
All the mommas lined up on the beach!

I don't know what Hayden would do with out Collette, he just loves her to pieces!

We tried to get a picture of all the girls (since we never do). We asked someone there at the beach to snap a quick picture, needless to say she had zero photography skills. We should have asked Tanner to take it for us! Blurry, horrible picture, but at least it is something.
We had another fun birthday party this month for another friend, Kylie. It was a swim party and they had a snow cone truck come and we had limitless snow cones! Yum, Yum!

Handstand contest with Brittany... she is always so much fun!

DERBY

The first Saturday in May always means, DERBY!! Even though we don't live in Kentucky anymore, we still like to carry the tradition on and do our own little Derby festivities.

We all picked our horses and cheered them on. Tanner's horse won! He was so excited. He picked the winning horse last year as well.

Because you can't buy derby pie here in Florida, I decided to make it from scratch. I have never been a big fan of derby pie, but Drew thought it turned out yum-o!
Earlier in the day we went swimming with friends, and played a little at the park!

Swimming Lessons and Bike rides

In May Hayden took Swim Lessons with two of his friends, Collette and Lola. He had a great time and learned so much from coach Jessica.

Theses are some random pictures of a bike ride we took one night in May. Hayden love to go on bike rides with his brothers.

Spring Break 2013: Lego Land

Wednesday and Thursday of spring break we went to Legoland. The boys were in lego heaven! We had a really fun time there.
Mini lego land city.
This was a replica of Kennedy Space center. Amazingly all made out of legos!
 Las Vegas
 Capitol Building
One of the roller coasters
 Driving school

Almost 2 year olds are so much fun at amusement parks! (Side note, this was an awesome car all made out of Legos)
Whoever thought of this was genius. Kids play instead of waiting in line.
Build your own race cars (Hayden loving the gigantic size legos)
Then testing them on the race tracks

 Fun rides!

End of day one
Day two was a blast and we hit up all the stuff we missed the first day.

Got to love the Mini Figure characters!

 Star Wars guys
And cute Hayden entertaining himself while waiting in line! (Shoeless I might add because we did have another shoe in the water incident! This time he threw it in the water while He, Tanner, and I were driving in a boat ride. Luckily I was quick enough and grabbed it before it sunk to the bottom. Little Stinker!)

The Day ended with the drive home. It was a fun, busy packed 4 days. And we loved every minute of it, well almost every minute of it.
Notice Tanner and Hayden passed out in the back. They were like this within 2 minutes of driving out of the park. Exhausted!
