Dresser Makeover

Thought I would share the dresser makeover we did for the baby's room. And when I say we I really mean Drew. He seriously did such a great job. Other then wiping down a few drawers and picking out the color I did nothing. Don't I have the best husband ever! Thanks Hun!!

Didn't get a picture before Drew had sanded it, but it was a light green color with gold crackle. This is before the paint went on.

And here is the after!
I know you are thinking Turquoise, really, that is a little crazy. And yes it is, but I love it and just check it out with the quilt I made for bedding. So fun for a baby boy room, right!! And I love the knobs at the top, found those at Hobby Lobby.

Mason Turns 6!

May 12th Mason turned 6! He could hardly wait for this day to come. He had a fun day and we packed in as much as we could. Grandma and Grandpa Steel came for graduation so they got to celebrate with us.This birthday was all about Legos. Mason LOVES Legos and got a couple of new sets that he went right to work on. He got the space shuttle done before school, but not the airport. I am sure that is all he thought about all day at school.
He also got a new bike and is a pro at riding it all over the place!
Mason was such a good sport as we had to spend some of the day at Dads awards ceremony and then at Tanners Soccer game. He did get to choose what he wanted for dinner... He chose McDonalds!
After dinner we come home for a LEGO cake and ice cream!

And of course we couldn't go to bed without putting that Lego airport together. These boys have so much fun putting these things together!

Happy Birthday our Big {SIX} year old! We love you!

Dental School Graduation

Its hard to believe that the day has come and gone. Graduation was such a great day. I am so proud of Drew and all of his accomplishments. Here are a bunch of pictures from the big day!As the Graduates were walking in!

Our Proud Graduate
These Boys adore their dad so much! They want to be just like him when they grow up!
Lets just not judge me on my roundness, remember I am 8 months pregnant!
Proud Parents!

I really don't think I could have gotten through these last 4 years with out these girlies! It is going to be hard to say goodbye as we all go different ways.

A lot of time was spent with these boys over they last 4 years!

These Boys have all grown up together. I really don't know what they are going to do with out each other.

Derby Day

We just celebrated our last Derby living here in Kentucky. So sad! We Love derby time here in Louisville. It always starts with Thunder, which we were planning on going to, Gandpa and Grandma Steel even came out to see the big event, but plans were canceled when the weather turned COLD and RAINY! We also love going to the balloon Glimmer on the water front, but again because of the CRAZY amount of rain we have been getting, the water front down by the Ohio river was literally covered in water. The fun playground the kids like to play at was completely submerged in water, so that activity was scratched! Mason did fun things at school all week including a derby float parade were they made floats out of shoe boxes with themes from their favorite book. Luckily the day of the Derby it didn't rain to much, and we were able to have a fun party with Friends. We made it a combined derby/graduation party for all the grads. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Sportin' their Derby Shirts I made them. Getting all geared up for the races!
Can't have a party without cornhole!
These are classic with Drew's Tongue hanging out

The kids had a great time running and playing outside!Family Photo (about 5 more weeks and we will add one more little guy to these photos)

In addition to the derby/grad party it was also Ali's Birthday, so we got to sing Happy Birthday to her!
Tanners shinner! Before we left for the party Mason and Tanner bonked heads and Tanner ended up with this over his eye. It looks like a beauty today!

We had a great time cheering for our picks!
