7 months and Scooting!!

Hello, where did the last 7 months go, seriously! I can hardly believe that my little Tanner is 7 months old! He is so fun and is learning new things everyday. Over the last few days he has gotten really good at the scooting/arm crawl. Check out the videos of him, they are totally cute.

Ashlee and Brian Visit

We had so much fun when Aunt Ashlee and Uncle Brian came to visit. We got to go to a Cincinnati Reds Games, which Mason LOVES to do, we did some shopping, had a picnic, went swimming, saw Churchill Downs, and had fun watching the Olympics every night. We loved having them here, especially Mason. It is so fun to watch Mason whenever we have people come and visit. He totally eats it up. He loves to show everyone all his toys and the things he likes to do. So Thanks Ash and Bri!! We had the best time ever!

Back to the Hospital

So we were back at the hospital yesterday. No emergency rooms this time, but little Mason had to have tubes put in his ears. He was very brave and did great. We found out Tuesday that he needed them and Wednesday morning bright and early at 6:30am we were at the hospital having it done. I feel like I didn't have time to prepare myself and I was more nervous then Mason, but everything went well. He was a bit out of it after the surgery as you can tell from the pictures, but a few hours later he snapped out of it and has done great since. Great Job my Mason boy for being so brave and such a big boy! We love you.

YW Lesson #28

Here is a great idea for young womens lesson # 28. Here is where I got the idea. I was teaching our whole Young Womens, so instead on getting the big Snickers Bars, I just gave out mini snickers and did this handout with it.I thought the attention getter was a great idea, and it really got my girls attention.

The Steel Family Reunion

We had so much fun at the annual Steel Family Reunion. After spending day one at Lagoon, we spent the next day at Shaun and Tonya's house. The boys went golfing and then we had fun playing in the back yard with all the fun water toys. We had a yummy lunch then headed up to Park City for a little shopping. After that we went to the Homestead in Midway. It was really fun and a beautiful place to stay. The kids had a scavenger hunt and they all received their cowboy attire (Thanks to Aunt Tonya). Mason loved his cowboy vest and galloped all over the place with his horse. That night we played games and the winner of the Steel Biggest Loser was announced.... drum roll please.......... Yahoo, Drew was the official winner. We were so proud of him and all his hard work! You look great hun! The next day we swam and had a dutch oven dinner. Oh what good times! Thanks everyone for a fun family reunion!
