So we were back at the hospital yesterday. No emergency rooms this time, but little Mason had to have tubes put in his ears. He was very brave and did great. We found out Tuesday that he needed them and Wednesday morning bright and early at 6:30am we were at the hospital having it done. I feel like I didn't have time to prepare myself and I was more nervous then Mason, but everything went well. He was a bit out of it after the surgery as you can tell from the pictures, but a few hours later he snapped out of it and has done great since. Great Job my Mason boy for being so brave and such a big boy! We love you.

Are you kidding! That happened QUICK!! Isnt it usually a couple of months!! WOW! Way to go Mason!
Wow -it usually takes weeks to get in --Why did he need them --Way to go Brave Mason!
I am glad to hear they went well. I was shocked when Preston told me how fast you got in. I think it only took about two weeks, but I hear that is lucky. Oh those pictures make me sad, the other kids in the waiting room were the same way though. Mason, we are so proud of you for being so brave.
Poor little guy, Im glad he is doing better! Also, im glad you had so much fun in Utah, your pictures are great. Aren't grandparents the best!
Hi Steel family,
When we had tubes put in Erin's ears I was so upset....she only cried when she saw me cry! I totally relate to how you felt. She was sick a lot less after the tubes...so good call.
I love this blogging thing so I can keep up on your cute family. I miss your dad now I don't teach with him everyday...grateful you have a blog so I can see your darling boys.
Good job for being so brave Mason! I think that Kasen having tubes has been such a great thing, so hopefully they will help Mason as much as they helped Kasen!
I had no idea he had that done! I'm glad everything went well though. Smith had his put in about a year and a half ago and it has been the best thing EVER! I would have been a bit nervous with one day notice too...way to be brave girlie!
Wow if he needed them he will probally feel a lot better now. Hopefully things are still super, oh and your cover picture with tanners rolls in his legs!!!!! A did you put millions of rubberbands around them- it is halarious. Such a precious picture.
Oh, poor Mason! And I feel for you Michele...you definitely need more time to prepare for something like that!
