Happy Bithday to My Tanner Boy

Happy Happy Birthday to my sweet, fun loving, sensitive, handsome 4 year old! So Lucky to have you in my life! Some of these answers crack me up. Like his favorite snack is Orange Juice, don't know that he has ever had that for a snack! And his favorite drink is water!

I love his little foot prints in the sand. Wish they could stay that size forever!

Tanners Birthday

On the January 24th we celebrated Tanners 4th Birthday!
He had been looking forward to this day for a LONG time! It got to the point where I had to make a birthday countdown for him so he could see how many days were left! So when the day finally came, it didn't disappoint!
He had a great day. Here are a few things we did...

Tanner woke up to this over his bedroom door!
Busting through!
Good morning birthday boy!
Dad was on call the night before so he had the whole day off. We went to the park for a bit, but it was almost to hot to be outside (seriously where else could I say that. To hot at the park on a January day!)

Opening Presents

Birthday Cake
Blowing out the candles
Bowling!
When we asked Tanner what he wanted to do for his Birthday his first answer was BOWLING, so that is exactly what we did.He wanted the boys best buddy Savea to come to!

Mason was a little excited about a spare he got!
The final score. Tanner ended up with a strike and a spare! He was so excited and proud of himself!
We ended the night with dinner at McDonalds (Tanners Choice of course!)

New Pillows

Nothing like a new set of pillows to brighten up a room!

Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas. This was our first Christmas not going home to St. George and our first Christmas here in Florida. It was so different and we missed our families...a lot... but we made the most of it and really had a wonderful Christmas. It was nice and laid back and relaxed. We told the boys they couldn't wake us up until after 6:30am. At 6:30am on the dot Mason was waking us up yelling... It's Christmas, its Christmas, wake up!

Here the boys are in their Christmas Jammies on Christmas Eve. I decided to make them this year and I love how they turned out!
For Christmas Eve dinner I made all the yummy foods my grandma makes every year. Soup, bean dip, cheese ball and crackers, veggie tray, and slush. It helped to make it feel like Christmas!
We did the Nativity. Being the only girl, I played the part of Mary. Mason and Tanner were shepherds
and Hayden of course was baby JesusOpening Jammies
Sprinkling reindeer food out on the lawn so the reindeer had something to eat while they waited for Santa inside.
Cute little Hayden on his first Christmas!
Christmas Morning trying to wake Tanner up
The look says it all!
Oh what fun!
I made these fun pillow mats for the boys to lounge on and watch movies on.

After opening presents we got ready for church. We enjoyed a nice sacrament meeting then spent the rest of the day relaxing and building LEGOS!

Drew and I made the boys this lego table for their Christmas present. They have spent many hours building lego creations here.

December Roundup

Here are a few pictures through the month of December. We had a very fun month and it totally flew by!

The Water Taxi Ride through Fort Lauderdale.
This was a fun evening and we got to see lots of multimillion dollar water front homes and even more expensive yachts!

A quick trip to Disney World. We even got to see some friends from Kentucky and dental school, The Woodens! Of course we got no pictures together! We were to busy with the 6 kids between both of us!Swimming, yes we went swimming on Christmas Eve!

The boys wanted to sleep under the Christmas Tree one night!

Christmas Outfits for Church.
Tanner decided he didn't want to take pictures and was mad about it.
Hayden on the other hand was happy as could be.
Then Tanner decided it was okay to smile,
and Hayden decided his hand was better then smiling for pictures.
That's just the way it goes!
By now Tanner was so into taking pictures he wanted one by himself!
