Art Sparks Museum
This was a few weeks ago, okay two months ago, but I realized I never posted any pictures from it. We went with the Kallie, Sadie, and Janae to the Art Sparks Museum downtown. The kids had a blast, and the moms were happy to let them paint away to their hearts content and were happy it wasn't at home that they were making the mess:)

Summer Time Fun
We have been enjoying some wonderful summer time weather the last few weeks! Good weather means one thing to my kids, LOTS of time outside! We have been taking lots of walks and bike rides, gone to the splash pad at the Zoo, been to our pool quite a bit (Mason and Tanner both LOVE being in the water) and Enjoying LOTS of these:
POPSICLES!!
What's that plastic lid thing on the bottom of the popsicle you ask? Well it is just the greatest little invention for messy popsicle eating kids like mine. I got this idea from a friend (Janae) who I think found it somewhere on the internet. Instead of throwing away those lids that come on the bread crumbs cans (or formula cans, or anything like that) save them, use a knife and make a slit in it the size of a popsicle stick. Stick the popsicle through the lid and there you go, a nifty invention to catch all the sticky messy stuff. They have worked great for my kids. Tanner actually holds the sides of the lid, but it still catches the dripples and keeps him somewhat clean.
