We have lots of fun festivities going on here with Derby only a week away. Last weekend we went to Thunder! (For those of you that don't know what this is, it is a huge fireworks show, they say the largest in North America, that the city puts on every year to kick off Derby. They shoot the fireworks off barges that are on the river. There are thousands of people camped out all over the waterfront). This year was great. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and the show was simply amazing.

We had some friends that went down early in the morning to steak out a spot. They got a great spot and were nice enough save places for us!

When I was in high school people would ask me if I could go anywhere where would it be? I would say the Kentucky Derby! That is so cool you get to live right in the middle of it! Go watch the horse races and wear a beautiful big hat for me!! :)
