Birthday Boy

The Mason Boy Turned 5 years old yesterday! This has been a much anticipated day, and was full of fun, fun, fun!! We started the day with breakfast with a request from Mason of Waffles with strawberries and whipped cream! Next was preschool where he got to bring birthday treats to share with his class. Later that afternoon was his party. He wanted to have a "How to train your Dragon" party, so that is exactly what he got.

Party Favors!

I looked and look all around for viking hats for the kids, but had no luck. My mother and father in law were in town and my MIL had the great idea to do viking helmets out of paper mache. It was a fabulous idea and I think they turned out so cute. It ended up being a LONG two day process, but with LOTS of help from my mother and father in law, we got them done in time for the party. Thanks grandma and grandpa, the kids loved them!

The cake did not turn out how I had invisioned it (it was suppose to be toothless the dragon from the movie), but it was yummy and the kids liked it!Happy Birthday to my Mason Boy!!

I was talking to Mason last night and I said the worst part about birthdays is when the day is over hu buddy. He said no mom, it will be fine because I will still be 5 years old tomorrow!
