Brothers?

These two pictures are of Tanner and Mason. I think they definitely have their own look, but are for sure brothers! They have different coloring, but both have big blue eyes. What do you all think? I hear so many different opinions from people. Some say Tanner looks just like me, and then some say he looks just like his dad!

Young Women Ideas

I decided I would start posting all of my young womens stuff: handouts, lesson ideas, things like that.  I decided to do this for two reasons 1. so I can remember all of these ideas for future use, and 2. for any of you out there who need YW ideas. I get ALL my ideas online, some from other fellow bloggers and I totally appreciate all the help I can get. I love hearing what other have done, then taking the idea and changing it a bit to make it "my style." I hope those of you out there who are serving in young womens can benefit from these posts. I will have a link on my sidebar of just yws stuff, so you can click there and see ideas. This first one is a handout I did with a lesson on the priesthood.

Spring Time Fun!!

We finally have been having some nice weather!! The other night we all went out and enjoyed the warm sunny evening. One of Masons favorite things to do is go to the putting green at our apartment complex and hit golf balls with his dad! The two of them had a great time, and Tanner and I enjoyed watching, well actually I enjoyed looking at my latest addition of Creating Keepsakes. What can I say, it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a little me time!!

Mr. Independent!!

Mason has been so into getting dressed all by himself lately. Most days I can pick out his clothes and give them to him, then he will dress himself, but some days he INSISTS on picking them out himself. This is one of those days when I could not talk him out of the CRAZY outfit he put together. So lets start with the pants, which are okay, but then the shirt. Yes, the shirt is getting a little small. The sleeves are getting to be more like a 3/4 length shirt (so not fashionable for a 2 1/2 year old) and the stripes with the camo, totally clash. Then he topped it off with the hat. Oh and I forgot to mention the pants are on backwards. When he was all done he came out and said "Mom I already!" What can I say other then that is one cute boy, crazy outfit and all!! I love you Mas.

Life as the "LITTE BROTHER"

So Tanner is experiencing life as the little brother. The other day I came in to witness this. Yes Mason had found some stickers and thought it would be funny to cover Tanners head with them. Tanner was a trooper and just let him do it with out even making a peep. That is how the sweet little guy is, so calm and easy going. I am afraid that Tanner is going to be having experiences like this his whole life. With a crazy older brother like Mason, he really has no chance. Oh how I love my boys!!

Young Women's Baby Shower

I have been wanting to do a post on this baby shower for awhile now, and am now just getting around to it. A few weeks ago my cute young women threw a baby shower for us. Four of us leaders were all pregnant (At the time of the shower I was the only one that who wasn't pregnant anymore, now there are two of us), so they planned this baby shower and it was so cute and fun!! They had everything all decorated, we played some fun baby shower games, and they even made us yummy food. I was the only one having a boy, the other three leaders are having girls. What a fun group of girls. I am so grateful for them and my calling. I must say being in Young Womens is one of the best callings in the church.

One of the games we played where we had to dress and undress the baby each using one hand.

Yep we're doing it too!!

So we have decided to jump on the band wagon and go private too! You really can't be to safe right! We still want all of you who enjoy looking at our site to still enjoy looking at it, so just give us your email and I will be sure invite you all!!

Tanners Blessing

Last Sunday we blessed our little Tanner. We were so happy that our families were able to come out and be here with us on Tanners special day. Drew's parents and my parents and my little sister Makenzie were all here. We had so much fun with them. We took them around to some of the sites here in Louisville like the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum, the dental school, and Church Hill Downs. On Sunday after the Blessing we had a little dinner and just hung out with everybody. It is so nice to have family come and visit. Mason loved ever minute, and was definitely spoiled to pieces. When everyone had to go Mason's comment was " Mom I so sad." "Why buddy?" "Because my grandmas and grandpas and kenzie left me:("
