Monday August 22nd, 2011 was Masons first day of 1st grade. He is at a new school from last year so we kind of feel like we are starting all over again, getting use to how they do things here. His first day went great though and he came home saying "That was the BEST first day EVER!" So grateful for that. We almost have the first week down and it looks like we are going to have a great year. We miss Bowen Elementary and Mrs. Pikes, but know that we will love it here too. Heres to a great year in 1st grade! Do I really have a 1st grader?

This pictures says it all to me... "Okay mom, I'm excited, a little nervous, but not scared. It will be okay, you can go now, but I love you and will see you at the end of the day."

Michele! I miss you! We were just in Florida (Destin) and I was thinking of you and hope that you are doing well and adjusting and all that fun stuff. It just isn't the same without you here! Hope you are great!
So cute I could cry! He is getting so big. He is so happy and confident. I love that little boy.
