Thats right folks, back to the ER for the second time in 6 months!! This time we had a major cut to the lip. Last night we decide to go for a walk with some friends. We stop at the playground for a bit and Mason and his buddy Parker decided to play "Pirates" on the picnic table. He told me it was their ship. Well the little pirate somehow fell off the table and cut his lip in the process. Mason started crying and we look over and he had blood pouring out his mouth with his lip split in half. We ran him into the house and Drew took one look at it and said we got to go to the hospital. We grabbed some towels, gave Tanner to the Smiths (Thanks Smiths so much for taking care T) and headed to the ER. After the ER doctor looked at it, he decided that he would need a plastic surgeon to sew it up. I took a few shots before they sewed it up, but I didn't have my good camera, so it is kind of hard to tell. We had to wait a bit for the Plastic surgeon to get there, but she finally arrived and she sewed him up. Mason was a champ, he was a little afraid when they gave him the numbing shot in his lip, okay he was freaking out, but after that he held really still while she stitched him up. He received about 15 stitches, and has one fat lip, but this morning he is back to his usually self playing hard like little boys do.

That is the best fat lip I have ever seen! Poor little guy, Kadence did the ER with stitches above the eye and that is definitely a day I could forget. Hope he recovers alright.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry Mase, that looks like trauma forsure. Kallie will give you some sympathy soon!
How awful! Mason, you poor little guy, I hope you enjoyed your popsicle. I hope they gave one to your mom too for the stress. His little lip has turned HUGE lipicious

It really makes me want to cry when I see the pictures. I kinda get a knot in my throat. I am glad he is feeling better. He is one tough kid, way to go Mas! on an unrelated note HELLO...Drew you look FABULOUS, with a capital F. You have done great with this biggest loser, Good Job Good Buddy!

How Sad! Poor little guy, and poor Mom. I don't know what to think of these little boys that get hurt all the time. I am glad he's doing better. Those pictures make me so sad. Oh and the pictures you took of Tanner are darling!

There is nothing like going to the ER for stitches. I guess thats what you get with boys right?
