Craft Tag

So all you crafty creative girls out there, I am starting a tag, a craft tag!! I thought it would be fun to see what fun projects everyone has been working on and to also get some ideas maybe for gifts for christmas (I know it is only september, but I always run out of time when the holidays hit and wish I had started  sooner of gift ideas) or just to make for yourself. So here how it works...

1. Post a project that you have been working on lately or some thing you want to start soon.

2. Include pictures, a few instructions on how to make your fun project/craft idea, or a link to where you found the idea.

3. Then tag a few people to do the same!!

{So here is my project}

I made these fun felt picture books for the boys a few weeks ago. They were really fun to do and easy!! Here is a few simple instructions

{INSTRUCTIONS}

1. Cut out 10 picese of felt to the size you want your book. 

2. Randomly sew around the edges of each rectangle using a thread that stands out against your felt. Also add ribbon randomly and attach as you sew around the edges.

3. Cut out 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 inch rectangles out of a sheet protector and sew on to the pages leaving the top open so you can insert pictures.

4. Embellish the front page as you wish. ( I just added their letter of there name)

5. Add two gromments to the top of each page. (you can get these and the setters for pretty cheap at Walmart, and also at fabric stores)

6.Put the pages on two book rings and add pictures. And there you have it. My boys love their picture books. Tanner mostly like to suck on the ribbon, but Mason loves to carry it aroundand  loved picking out his pictures for it. It would also be cute to put pictures of temples and christ for a quiet book at church.
